This was our first stop on our trip to Dublin, a city known for its friendliness and we weren't disappointed! Shane, the owner, was friendly, funny, helpful and knowledgable.
He gave us loads of tips for our trip and is very knowledgable on everything from whisky to travelling across Ireland.
The other thing to mention is we had literally the best pizzas ever. Who knew pistachio on pizza works!

Came across this place as my girlfriend wanted to have some Whiskey while in Dublin. Sat at the bar and was greeted by a fine gentleman who took the time to give us a whiskey tasting experience. I was not a whiskey drinker when I walked in however I became one once I left. All the selections were amazing and very reasonably priced. Thank you Shane for a great time.

Superb evening with the boss and his young employee (I don't know his first name).
Shane recommended some very good whisky, we didn't know much about it and had come to drink a Guinness. We enjoyed discussing the region we come from in France with the young man. They were both friendly and we liked the atmosphere at the bar. We had two pizzas which were delicious. We will come back with pleasure. Thank you again for this moment and for the whiskey advice for my dad.

Shane and his crew were amazing, we stayed around the corner for a few days and found it so welcoming. Got educated on whiskey and my wife poured her own pint of Guinness. If you’re in the area I highly recommend it.

During our recent visit to Dublin, my wife and I decided to pop into Moss Lane Bar for lunch. The experience turned out to be the best of our trip. We were immediately greeted by Shane, the owner, whose warmth and humor were as inviting as the cozy ambiance of the bar itself. Shane's passion for Ireland and knowledge of local establishments was unparalleled. The food, it was nothing short of fantastic. The margherita pizza was delicious. Our initial plan was just to have a quick lunch, but thanks to Shane's hospitality and the exceptional food and drink, our visit to Moss Lane Bar became a memorable part of our journey through Ireland. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a warm welcome and a genuine taste of Ireland's pub culture. This was our first trip to Ireland and Shane’s pub, Moss Lane, was the highlight of our 10 day trek across the country.

This was one of the best pubs we’ve been to on our trip. The owner is brilliant and very helpful. The whiskey selection is decent and even though we didn’t have the food it seems like your run of the mill pub snacks. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area. It’s very cozy as well!

During our recent visit to Dublin, my wife and I decided to pop into Moss Lane Bar for lunch. The experience turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip across Ireland.
We were immediately greeted by Shane, the owner, whose warmth and humor were as inviting as the cozy ambiance of the bar itself. Shane's passion and extensive knowledge of Irish whiskey truly shone through as he introduced us to various distilleries and offerings. What started as a casual lunch evolved into an enlightening mini whiskey tasting session, where Shane deftly guided us through the complex world of Irish whiskeys.
Surprisingly, even my wife, who usually doesn't prefer whiskey, found herself enjoying the samples. Shane's recommended tasting method seemed to make the whiskeys more approachable and enjoyable.
As for the food, it was nothing short of fantastic. The margherita pizza was delicious, but the standout was undoubtedly the meatball sandwich. Shane shared that they had recently revamped the bread for the sandwich, now using a pizza crust made into a pocket and sliced. This innovative approach not only enhanced the texture but also perfectly complemented the complex marinara sauce and the outstanding cheese selection used in the sandwich.
Our initial plan was just to have a quick lunch, but thanks to Shane's hospitality and the exceptional food and drink, our visit to Moss Lane Bar became a memorable part of our journey through Ireland. This place is a must-visit for anyone looking for a warm welcome and a genuine taste of Ireland's whiskey culture.
