Murphy's Hotel in Tubbercurry

What a lovely place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bar/restaurant is tended too by absolutely lovely attendants. The food is lovely. A gem in the heart of Tubbercurry.

Never stayed in overnight, a decent pint of Guinness though, I wasn't too impressed with the food but my boys enjoyed it. Theresa and Pier are very nice though.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we ate there, and it was delicious. Freshly cooked, tasty and full of fresh ingredients. It was obvious that everything was freshly prepared, the Thai red curry was full of crispy veg, and just the right amount of spice. The carbonara and lasagne were both tasty and obviously made on site, and and again full of fresh ingredients. All served piping hot, by friendly, welcoming staff. Highly recommended

Nice breakfast for 12 euro. But then was charged 5 euro for 1 scone which was disappointing.

Family run business. Top class.

Has a short one night stay here, room was excellent and a great price. Meal starter and a drink for 30 euro. Most places you would pay that for main course. Beef main course was super. Will be staying again next I pass this way. Big carpark that is secured at 11.30 and opens ar 07.30.

Hotel above bar. Don't be decived it is big. Food very good. Staff very welcoming.

We were here for New Year as part of a coach party. Our room was very spacious with everything we needed for our stay. However we had problems with the bathroom which was resolved, we also had to ask for the tea, coffee etc to be topped up, again no problem. Nothing was a bother to either the manager or staff, who were very pleasant and helpful.

If you like staying at 2 star hotels, this is the place for you.
