This place can be severely understaffed at times, despite the staff best efforts. We waited an hour for appetizers, and had to request our mains to take away as we had to leave for an event nearby. I can't recommend it for as a pre-show dinner if you want to be on time

The food was good! But we stayed there for two hours until our choices to arrive, we had a gap of almost an hour between our appetizers. There was one staff serving all the tables, and the place was full. Even though after getting empty there was still a long waiting for the food.

I go to this restaurant almost every Sunday evening. It's the perfect treat. I love everything about this place: the food (they have various glutenfree options marked on the menu), the staff, the music, the ambience. I cannot recommend it enough, it's a must-try in Dublin.

We wanted our version of comfort food, which means sushi, noodles and spring rolls. Outstanding. The salmon 'sampler' had salmon 5 ways. I adore nigiri and sashimi on the same platter. The udon was spot on. The spring rolls were piping hot and paired well with the dipping sauce.

We had a fantastic experience here recently. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. We particularly enjoyed the crispy tempura, which was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed. It was the perfect spot for our meal, and everything from the sushi to the drinks was spot on. We will definitely be back again soon.

Visiting Musashi in the IFSC for the first time recently and with little previous knowledge or experience of Japanese food, I was more than pleasantly surprised with the food, the service and advice given by Alice our hostess. The food was top class, the service was excellent and overall the atmosphere was very relaxing. Thanks again to Alice and Lisa whose personal attention made our birthday meal all the more special. Ramen Kitchen

09/09/2026: They have a vegan AND gluten free ramen, I get it every time I’m in Dublin. It’s hard to find this kind of option everywhere. It’s very good, tasty veggies, flavourful broth, vermicelli noodles that aren’t overcooked (like other places I have had). The server made sure to tell the cook it was gluten free, I heard her say it 4 times. Definitely recommend to others!
03/09/2026: I had always come to this restaurant and being treated so nicely, the food tastes delicious and the Staff are very friendly. Tonight we had a small incident with another customer, she couldn’t understand that people can also speak while they eat. I supposed her conversation wasn’t very interesting so she had to jump on ours. 🥳 Anyways, the waiter kept the situation very calm and he was very respectful. We will be back!

14/09/2026: I have found that when talking to people in the Dublin area, all have recommended Takara as the best ramen bar by a landslide, and I couldn’t agree more! For the past year or so I have visited this restaurant every time I was in Dublin and each time was met with incredible food and service! Pricing: Takara has excellent pricing across the board, especially for ramen and bento boxes. I have found other restaurants in Dublin to charge €18-20 for a single bowl of ramen, whereas Takara has consistently kept their prices at the €13 mark which is incredible value for the food you are getting. Food: Takara offers a wide variety of food at their establishment such as sushi, bento boxes, ramen and more. Personally, I am a huge fan of the variety of ramen, as myself and my friends all have different food restrictions and it can be hard to find a place that suits all of us. However Takara offers different ramen with beef, pork, chicken and even vegan ramen, making it inclusive for all! Service: I have found the service here to be excellent every time I’ve visited. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the food is served quickly no matter how busy the establishment. Additionally, I often find the portion sizes large and have always asked for a container to take my leftovers home, each time staff have kindly provided me with a takeaway box and bag for my convenience which allows me to get two meals out of their wonderful food and prevent waste. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s interest was even slightly peaked by their menu or the reviews. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
14/09/2026: Cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!! I stayed in Dublin for four and a half days and ate at this restaurant three times, I would of gone more if I didn't have all day tours. The kimchi is incredible!!!
