My Meat Wagon in Dublin

I’ve been eating here since it opened in 2014 (I think?) and it’s been unbelievably consistent each and every time. Funny enough I only tried the beef ribs for the first time recently and they were insanely good! Pork ribs are my go to but this has given me real food (sorry!) for thought. I do a lot of BBQ/Smoking myself and this really is reference level stuff, I really can’t recommend it enough.

Went today with my daughter and we had the best time!! We got the mixed platter on the bone to share and an extra beans which was so much we bought the rest home with us for dinner. The meat was, honestly, the best BBQ I've ever had in my life. The beef on the dinosaur type bone reminded me of the flavours from a spectacular roast dinner. The lady severing us also made the meal what it was, she even gave my daughter a free glass of milk when my kid accidently stumbled on a super spicy pickled gherkin. Losing one star for the atmosphere because the music was perhaps a touch to loud but maybe I'm just old. Looking forward to going back again very soon.

A very authentic restaurant when it comes to eating a decent portion of meat. The meat platter for two was really good, with two side dishes included. The service staff is very friendly, and the value for money is good! Highly recommended ⭐️🙌🏻

We had a lovely time with a great selection of beef, chicken, pork and steak. The sides were amazing with lovely mash potato, beans, mac n cheese and sausage. Our waitress Anna was fantastic with a great choice of beers. We definitely need to visit again!

The beef rib is very tender and juicy, fries very good as well. Definetly going back whenever I want to try some tender beef.

Ventured here to try the Smoked Sharing Board. Food was lovely, particularly liked the beef rib it was delish. Most items seemed to have a kick of chili or jalapeno even the mac-n-cheese, coleslaw and corn.

Very tasty meat dishes! Unfortunately, all the side dishes we had were very spicy, even though it wasn't listed on the menu – a bit annoying if you don't like that kind of thing. The seating is nice, but if it's raining, you shouldn't sit in the anteroom, as it gets wet there.

Feels, looks and tastes like a BBQ joint in Kansas City or Texas. I don't like to say something was as good as/better than/not as good as the best in the world, but the meats and sauce would hold their own with some of the best I've had and I grew up in Kansas City. The sides are pretty good too.
