This 5 star review is for Mohammed the owner. God only knows what he is thinking right now but he is such a gentleman and a lovely man. I’ve eaten here for years and unfortunately some staff member has seriously tarnished his reputation. I pray that this gets rectified soon.

Just leaving this here as I basically lived in this place when I was local to it, then moved away and it popped into my head after having a terrible curry elsewhere 😅. Namaste Smithfield is easily the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. Daily specials with curry rice and naan. I’ve had several curries from here and they were all great in their own regard, favourites are probably Saag & Butter Chicken. Always give two free poppadoms and dipping sauces, everywhere else charges you for them. Can’t recommend Namaste enough… I’ll be back for a Pakora roll one of these nights :D
