Nan Chinese 江南府 in Dublin

Four of us went there for dinner. It was a Thursday evening. It was a truly delightful experience. The waitress was welcoming, clarified any doubts we had in relation to the menu, explained dishes, talked about the ingredients,... And all that with kindness, patience and a smile. We all agreed that the food not only looked amazing (beautifully presented), it was delicious!!! Lately, I have experienced that, although some restaurants may have nice food, you barely get to enjoy it or enjoy the company of the person you're with. Once you sit down, the clock starts ticking and when time is over you're presented with the bill. Wine is overpriced and often served incorrectly (too warm or filling the glasses too fast in order to get you to buy another bottle). Thankfully, none of that happened here!!! I enjoyed being out with my friends, trying delicious dishes new to us. Having a relaxed dinner and catching up without being interrupted or rushed out. I will certainly go back and I'd recommend it for the quality of the food and the service!

Really good Chinese food. Get the fish soup or the beef ho fun.

Lovely food, nicely presented. Staff were nice and attentive. Restaurant was quiet enough for social chats. It was my birthday dinner with some friends and staff offered me a small treat with a candle. Very happy with our dinner here. Thank you

Delicious restaurant with pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff, already looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu. We had dim sum with pork xiao long bao, pork and prawn siu mai, char siu golden buns, prawn cheung fun, pork rib with black bean sauce, chicken sticky rice, and fresh garlic choy sum. Every dish was delicious, but the char siu golden buns were a standout! Highly recommend giving those a try. I would go back and get all those dishes again, but this restaurant has a wide variety of options on their menu so there is still much more to enjoy!

I've eaten a lot of Chinese food over the years, even directly in China. The food here was 1st rate! I can't express how good the food is here. I had the Irish beef which fused fantastic ingredients with 1st rate cookery skills. The chef here is a wonder, the food is amazing (I'd class it as the best Chinese I've EVER had) front of house were also brilliant, attentive and helpful with great suggestions. If you're in Dublin and you want a Chinese this is THE place to go. Loved every mouthful... Oh, nearly forgot the amazing dumplings! Shows how good they are if I could forget these wonderful parcels of deliciousness. I can only leave you with how I'm feeling thinking about it and it can only be summed up by Homer thinking of a donut.
