Perhaps the best Italian restaurant I have been to outside of Italy! Was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and wine, and amazing, attentive service. The prosciutto and burrata was perfect, and the risotto was one of the best, creamiest risottos I have ever had. Will 100% return on my next trip to Dublin!

Our favourite Italian in Dublin by far! This is my fourth time at Nannettis and it just keeps getting better. We had a really special night here over the weekend. The service was faultless; Vito and Claudia were extremely knowledgeable regarding the food and spent time with us chatting over a shared love of Italy. We had the veal and the casarecce which again were just so so delicious. Beautiful selection of Italian red wines which we always have a hard time choosing from. Also, when you come here you have to make room for dessert , even if you share the tiramisu, it is worth it and tastes authentically Italian

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been in Dublin! Amazing italian food with high quality ingredients. They make their own fresh pasta. We had the Papardelle al Ragú and the Casarecce Norcina and both were so so so delicious! And also the tiramisu for dessert was amazing. Definitely a place to visit again 😊

I visited Nannetti's to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant has an intimate, and cosy atmosphere, and the staff were polite. One immediate disappointment was learning they do not serve mocktails. This meant I had to settle for a non-alcoholic beer, which wasn't ideal when I wanted something sweet to enjoy alongside my friends' cocktails. We chose the set menu (starter, main, and dessert), and my husband and I ordered different items to try a variety of dishes. Unfortunately, the arancini were extremely salted. My husband ordered the burrata starter, but was informed they only had mozzarella, (which they did acknowledge) a detail I appreciate. However, his starter was quite simple. The definite highlight was the main course: the ragù was the star of the menu and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend ordering it. For dessert, I chose the cannoli, which was unfortunately nothing special, again falling short of expectations. Overall, my experience was nothing out of the ordinary. While the ragù was excellent, I believe there are other Italian restaurants in Dublin that offer a more consistent experience.

I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been there several times, both as a group and as a couple, and we've always had great food. The food is top-notch, the wine selection is excellent, and the service is attentive and warm. Try the pappardelle ragu' and the brasato😋 I can't wait to return.

Small and busy on a Saturday night, lovely staff. Feather blade beef exceptionally tender, pasta cooked perfectly but found the flavours a bit bland across starters and my linguine main.

Bad Ass Cafe

19/05/2026: The place is definitely interesting and full of atmosphere. The bar itself is located in a corner building, which honestly feels like the perfect location for Temple Bar. You can immediately tell it’s made for tourists, lovers of Irish music, and anyone looking for that loud Dublin pub experience. At first, though, we couldn’t even find the main entrance and accidentally entered from another side. Our first impression was actually a bit strange — the place looked a little sketchy, and we weren’t even sure we were in the right spot. But once we got inside, there was live music, lots of people, laughter, noise, and suddenly that real Irish atmosphere hit us. It actually felt great to be there. We had booked a table through the Early Table App and were looking for the restaurant area upstairs. When we went up, it became obvious that the building is very old — everything felt worn, shaky, and a bit tired. There weren’t many people there, maybe one large table and a couple of smaller ones. The waitress herself was lovely. She explained the menu, gave recommendations, and was genuinely friendly, so no complaints about her personally. But overall, the service was quite slow. We sat for a long time without menus or cutlery, and eventually I even sent my child to get the menus herself. The food arrived in reasonable time, but almost everything was extremely salty. Especially the steak — it wasn’t really the kind of steak you would expect, and there was so much salt that even beer couldn’t balance it out. At the same time, some dishes were genuinely tasty: the wings were really good, and the burger was surprisingly nice too. The mussels were tiny though — honestly, I’d probably change suppliers if I were them. The presentation was very basic, without much attention to detail: lots of potatoes, barely any vegetables, very small plates, and the child’s portion looked especially odd. Everything felt rushed and made for tourists rather than for people who truly appreciate food. So yes, the place is famous, historic, and full of character. It’s definitely worth visiting once to experience the Temple Bar vibe. But personally, I probably wouldn’t come back a second time.
18/05/2026: We went to this place for an after-dinner drink and were drawn in by the live music that could be heard even in Crown Alley. This young couple, playing and singing, got the whole place dancing, full of young people eager to have fun. I can't comment on the food because we didn't eat, but we did have a beer. It's definitely a great place to meet up and have fun.

canal boat restaurant

05/06/2026: Wonderful! We went to celebrate our anniversary and the food was delicious. I'd like to mention that all the staff were so kind and attentive, especially Eliana who spent the whole evening looking after us. Thank you so much, guys, you're the best! ♥️♥️
08/05/2026: Great experience. You have your food, whilst you wait you can move to the deck and enjoy going up in the canal.
