Lovely cafe for a coffee, but it's lacking an Irish touch. The food isn't great. It has so much potential, just lacking in the food. I would also recommend having a small kids' menu as it's very close to two schools.

was in no.43 on Monday for coffee..excellent server very pleasant and efficient and very welcoming..very relaxing atmosphere...would recommend no.43..

Amazing coffee and lunch here. Was able to seat my twins in some high chairs and had a lovely lunch with them being entertained by a few books supplied by the restaurant themselves. Definitely would go back here again

22/07/2026: What lovely people work here! Brilliant coffee, cool environment (in every sense - especially welcome in heat waves), relaxed vibe, but most of all, such welcoming, friendly and helpful baristas. Highly recommended. UPDATE: I was in the South Anne Street branch when I posted this - I'm not sure how it managed to get posted to this branch instead. I'm leaving it unchanged, though, as I know it's true of here too. And of Hatch St, to be fair. Such a hard thing to do, keeping everything consistently a high standard once somewhere expands, but Coffee Angel have certainly cracked it. Can'trecommend highly enough!
10/06/2026: Sandwiches and toasts were great, we enjoyed them in the nice and quiet seating area in the back. Personally I didn't like the taste of their brewed batch, I will try another Coffee angel to find out if their beans are not for me.

Halfway House

05/10/2025: Had a lovely meal on Sunday. Staff are fantastic. Make sure to either book a table or get there before 1pm as it fills very quickly. That's the only quibble I would have.
01/10/2025: Great pub. Many's a pint had there.Never ask the owner for a bag of ice as its very precious to him.
