Nora's Cake Shop in Mountmellick. Cozy café, nicely decorated. Sweet and friendly hostess. But the coffee service was disappointing. The waitress accidentally spilled coffee on the saucer on the way. Both pieces of pastries turned out to be very sweet. 4 stars for the food. 5 stars for the atmosphere. 3 stars for the service.

Outstanding chicken and mushroom pie. I drive all over the country and the food is better than any 4*hotel. Brought a load of cakes home and the chislers had em eaten before I got the box open. Great spot.
