Had Laziji and recognised that this place nunki tea before but the table and everything inside i.e. decor looked different. Never tried before. Nice Chinese and great location apart from going in to Capel St or Parnell.

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at this Chinese restaurant! The food was authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Each dish was freshly prepared, with rich and aromatic flavors that truly captured the essence of traditional Chinese cuisine. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and prompt. I especially loved the Peking duck and the dumplings; they were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy yet elegant, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a true taste of China!

I had a great experience at Zi Qi Chinese Restaurant. The food was very delicious, and the portions were big! The service was also excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves good Chinese food.

The most lovely Chineese food I have had in Ireland for years ,it’s very hard to find an authentic Chineese restaurant in Dunlaoghaire or surrounding area
,The food was delicious full of flavour ,lovely atmosphere, the staff very pleasant
and it was very reasonably priced
Generous portions
If it’s any help I have worked in the food industry for over 30 years
Food is very important to me
Definitely will be there again

What a feast last night!! We regularly get takeaway from Zi Qi, but last night we decided for the first time to dine in the restaurant. And now I’m not sure we’ll ever get takeaway again! While we love their takeaway, eating in was an entirely different experience. Food was piping hot and so fresh and tasty. Everything was excellent, but in particular the sliced pork in sweet and sour was stunning- incredibly crispy- and the homemade dumplings were fab. But the winner might have been the aubergine in hot garlic sauce was the best I’ve ever had- they’ve changed the recipe and it is full of fantastic veg and soft soft aubergine. Bottle of Albariño at €28 and enough food for 4 people plus lots of food to take home (really appreciated the takeaway boxes brought to the table so we could make up pack lunches on the spot!) and the bill came to under €160, which was incredible value.
Used to head into Dublin City centre for M&L or Good World, but now why would I bother with this gem on my doorstep.

The food is very good. It is one of the few high-end Chinese restaurants in Dublin. The decoration is beautiful and the service is very good. It is also very close to the seaside. After dinner, I went for a walk on the seaside.

Since changing the style, it tastes much better than before. I recommend the spicy hotpot! The portion is huge, please keep it up
There's been a change of ownership and this is now a god Chinese restaurant. There's a large varied menu as a good lunch menu, both reasonably priced; service is swift, efficient and friendly - I'd definitely go back again.
The groundfloor entrance & toilets are accessible to wheelchair users, always a bonus. There's plenty of room and opening times mean you can eat a hearty meal at any time. Portions are generous so we were full and satisfied after our meal.
There's a good wine list if you want alcohol but we had water on the day of our visit.
