I recently visited this beautiful Chinese restaurant with a friend, and we had a wonderful experience. The presentation of the food was absolutely stunning, matching the incredible taste perfectly. The service was warm and welcoming, especially from the waitress, whose friendly smile and thoughtful menu recommendations made us feel very comfortable. Although the restaurant was quite busy, the staff kept us informed about the waiting time for the food, and everything was served within the timeframe they mentioned. Afterward, I was surprised and honestly a little disappointed to read some negative reviews that didn’t seem fair based on the experience we had. Our visit was enjoyable from start to finish, and the team clearly put a lot of care into both the food and customer service.

Ziqi Restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes with excellent taste, attentive service and pleasant environment. And that’s the best Chinese in Dun Laoghaire.

The food is very good, but it is unfortunately let down by the customer service. As returning customers, and customers in general, people should expect to feel appreciated, welcome, and respected. Guests should feel welcome and enjoy a positive atmosphere, rather than being affected by negative staff attitudes. As the customer is the reason a business can operate in the first place, this should not be taken lightly.
