Great bar and restaurant in 'old' Johnstown. Plenty of parking on premises also. The service was very efficient and friendly. Very good selection of food at reasonable prices. The portion sizes were very big and the quality excellent. Great pint of Guinness also. Definitely recommend

We had a very good meal here. Highly recommended.

Dinner with my wife and 2 kids 8 and 6. Got seated immediately and have to say service was excellent from the minute we walked in, greeted by the owner which is rare, he was very friendly. Great selection for the kids and really good value options for 2 or 3 courses for only €9 or €12. Huge selection of dishes for all tastes, only slight blip is not because of quality but because there's no vegan/plant based option advertised. Asked waitress who wasn't entirely sure but made the effort to go out of her way to ask in the kitchen and chef made a fabulous veg curry with rice, even had grilled pineapple which was gorgeous. Wife and 8yo got spag bol with garlic bread, both really impressed. Kids portion is very generous. 6yo went for goujons. Chef made a fresh fruit salad as no vegan/plant based option for dessert and it was great. Kids got ice cream and wife profiteroles, all very happy with their choices. Reasonably priced very tasty food and the service from two waitresses was second to none, kudos to Sarah and unfortunately I didn't catch the other woman's name, both had great time for the kids and very relaxed friendly demeanour, they are a credit to the restaurant

Fantastic spot, been there for the Tapas and regular meals. Guinness is also good
