Maxol Ballycoolin is a very good service station that’s especially handy if you want a fresh roll, coffee, Burg- Burger King, or just a convenient stop. The roll I had was fresh, tasty, and satisfying. So I’d rate food 5 out of 5 for freshness, about4 and a half for choice. Facilities5 out of 5, and overall,4 and a half out of 5. If you’re in Ballycoolin, looking for a roll or a coffee, I’d give it a try.

Grand spot to stop at. The pre-pay petrol pumps can be fiddly and troublesome. Toilets could do with regular cleaning

good station with a number of options. Very crowded though.

The deli makes the best rolls in the area.

Plenty on offer, including hot food, but coffee is very poor, always cold despite highlighting to staff more than once, all machines dispensing coffee that is not hot enough. Otherwise good selection, plenty of parking and easy to get into.
