Bagels are nice but Sunday hours differ depending on who is working . When you try an order just after 4 they tell you they close at 4 but it says 430. I said this to the lady but she again told me no they stop serving at 4.

I order on Just eat. They don't seem to read the part where I said "no tomatoes". The food is really good. Just please read the notes on Just eat orders as this has happened to me twice. I hate tomatoes on your lovely food!

River Cafe

02/01/2025: I used to come here a lot when I lived in Lucan so I'm sentimental about it. Coffee is excellent, location great though not for parking, lovely staff and the building is beautiful. The food is very basic though but if you want some basic breakfast or lunch it's fine.

Baker Street Bakery

04/12/2024: Birthday cake from here (Victoria sponge) was phenomenal. Both a glorious taste from childhood and a modern elegance. We loved it!!
30/10/2024: The bread is good and decently priced, well worth the extra price than a supermarket slice pan. The meringues are also usually perfectly chewy and marshmallowy but can be hit and miss. The cakes taste cheap and lack flavour and texture in my opinion. I've yet to try the pastries. Staff are friendly and helpful.
