We were looking for an authentic Irish breakfast and we found it. The place is simple, but neat and clean, the service is fast and friendly. Due to its location, it is mostly visited by locals. The Irish breakfast was very delicious, we also got a large pot of delicious tea. The prices are friendly for Dublin. I can only recommend it.

This was exactly what we were looking for. No frill breakfast that was great. Plus we met the nicest man who worked there. He was so kind, funny and gave us great advice for things to see and do. He gave us some added history as well.

12/10/2025: Such a cosy spot with very friendly service! The seafood chowder and fish n chips were both delicious…sadly they were sold out of the seafood platter after a busy Sunday - so we’ll gladly return to try it another evening!
11/10/2025: Love this place, Authentic Howth, authentic people. Travel there at least once a month for the nicest chowder ever. Got served tonight by the lovely Aobhínn. Efficient, friendly and very reasonably priced. Can't recommend enough

13/12/2025: I'm giving this a fiver star review because it normally has fantastic music and great beers. Was let down tonight by an ignorant barman - glasses and beard. I gave my order of six drinks - he poured two of them then disappeared and seemed to take someone else order. Then beckoned me to come to him,and asked me for my order again, in a very rude manner as if it was my fault he did not remember. Then poured my drinks, and took my money without saying one word. Completely ignorant.
