Old Mill in Dublin

It was ok, but the food was just not tasty. It was noisy and not a good value. 6 average sized mushrooms that were pulled out of a bag from the freezer for €9? It's a nice setting but there are other places in the area that put more of an effort in.

We were hoping for better food. My husband "Yorkshire pudding" had the texture of being left in the microwave too long!! My power salad had very cashews or blueberries! 🫣 When we sat down down the atmosphere was nice but then the area we were in started to fill with single parents and small, yelling children!! 😢😳 It was too late to move. Really disappointed!

The fillet steak is cooked over a charcoal fire and is the best around and the chicken wings are the best in Ireland hands down.

Busy here Easter Sunday. Nice area upstairs on the balcony like a note club space we had a beer & chips. Chips were the usually frozen offering so not very special. There's a decent car park outside it's a good place for children or groups. The old mill machinery is still visible which is good.

Best pub in Tallaght by a country mile!

Old style mill with a pub and dining area set up with multiple walkways and access for patrons. Needs more wheelchair access for toilets is the big gripe on this visit to be noticed. A filling menu and good drinks assortment for all the family.

It's a good pub. The times I've visited it I ordered large spice chicken wings, it taste good and the serving is fine for the price and They have the space for family dinners

Fab food, fab staff and fab ambience.

This isn’t our first visit and definitely won’t be the last. We went for an early dinner during the Cheltenham week. It wasn’t too busy, or too noisy, and plenty of staff available to tend to everybody. The fish and chips is delicious and a good size portion. The side of onion rings was definitely worth it! The brownie we shared for dessert, as we were quite full, was divine and well worth the money. This has become our go to place when I’m in Dublin, we’ve never had a bad time. The staff are always helpful and friendly. It is always very clean and tidy when we go. Looking forward to our next visit.
