Old Mill in Dublin

I go in every Sunday for a hot chocolate and I must say it's a fantastic pub staff are very friendly and service is great what is great is the mill behind the counter it's really very well done I haven't had a meal there yet but I will it's always lovely and clean and a pleasure to go into Hugo quilty

We had a fantastic family lunch at The Old Mill in Tallaght today. The roast beef with potatoes and vegetables was delicious and the portions were very generous. Our boys had chicken tenders and chips which they loved, and the desserts (ice cream and chocolate brownie) were excellent. The service was outstanding, the staff were smiling, friendly and kept checking if we needed anything. They also seated us in a slightly dimmer, quieter area which worked perfectly for our autistic son. He stayed calm and comfortable the entire time which meant a lot to us as a family. Great food, great staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back, this might become our regular Sunday restaurant.

My wife and I visited after a long drive to explore this place, and it was well worth it. There’s plenty of parking, which is always a plus, and the interior looks beautiful with a really cozy, welcoming feel. We were seated quickly and ordered a chicken burger for me, fish and chips for her, along with a Guinness Zero. The food arrived in quick time. I really enjoyed my chicken burger—solid and satisfying. The fish and chips were okay for me, but my wife absolutely loved them. She actually ranked it as her second favourite, just after Bray. We finished things off with an apple pie, which was amazing and the perfect way to end the meal. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you live in Tallaght or are looking to try something new. I can imagine this being an amazing spot in the summer—perfect for a relaxed outing. 🌞🍽️

Brought my daughter out for a first valentines dinner date. Jake and Grace had served us from the start and I found they were very friendly and helpful. food was amazing. Would highly recommend this pub for food and drinks on a night out. Will be returning in the future. Thank you again Jake and Grace. A credit to the team

We visited before Christmas that the restaurant was super busy. Big shout out to the team as they still served us very well! We had burgers and desserts, I could say it was the best burger I've had for a very long time. Dessert wasn't too sweet and surprisingly refreshing which was fantastic. Will come again at any time.

Went with a mate to have a drink at the bar, the bar staff were just OK. They all stood behind the bar and didn't seem like they went to get glasses from tables and they were all chatting with themselves. I felt like I was a burden asking them for a drink. Then we decided to have dinner there too as it was getting later. I genuinely cannot praise the wait staff enough. They were attentive, friendly, smiling and seemed like they were really willing to help out. We ordered our meals and the food itself was just meh, honestly nothing to write home about. I did see some other people asking the wait staff to return their food. If I'm being perfectly honest, it seems like the chef(s) just don't care or have that passion anymore. However, even though the bar staff and the food were just OK, the overall experience was really nice thanks to the wait staff. Seriously cannot praise them enough, even though it's only a few days to Christmas.
