Ollies Cafe Bar in Dublin

I am very fond of a carvery and have tried plenty of pubs over the years, and I have to say the chef in Ollies lounge nails it every time. I got three selections of meat on a takeaway carvery, stuffed pork belly, roast beef and roast ham, all very thick slices with veg and gravy. I actually Couldn't finish it, the portions are huge and this definitely won't be wasted, there will be a round 2. Five stars from me. The picture doesn't do it justice as its a takeaway, but absolutely delicious and a bargain for €17.50 👌

Brilliant pub. Staff are fantastic. Was in for the game and had a great experience. The food is tremendous and the Guinness was top class. When back in sandyford I'll definitely be going back here for a meal.

I paid a visit to Ollie's bar Sunday evening around 6.15pm, there was very few people in the lounge and I probably wouldn't have stayed only I was meeting friends. The lounge was pleasant enough, the staff seemed a little distant and service was not as good as it should have been considering there was not to many people about. The saving grace was the guy playing guitar, he was absolutely brilliant playing and singing lots of rock classics, I would definitely give Ollie's bar another go for the music and hope the staff were just having an off night. The urinals in the gents are leaking so could do with a visit from a plumber.

Food is really good and staff are always very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
