Orchard Lounge Bar in Swords

Nice local, staff the same for years & are solid. Place is spotless. Place needs a refurb though

we regularly pop in for scones and coffee, and the occasional cake! but also good range of sandwiches and soup. good buzz as always busy with those avoiding having to turn on the heating at home :-) very friendly staff, with one particular favourite (clue in the title!)

Visited here on a Sunday afternoon. Firstly, nobody seemed to be in charge with young girls trying to direct customers and inform them of how to order. Had to queue at coffee wagon for at least 20 minutes to get a couple of coffees prepared by a very sullen girl who obviously resented having to be there. Two cheese toasties were nice and flavoursome but the lack of information about how to order and where to sit meant we couldn’t be bothered going back to the queue to get anything else. A couple of people said that the experience of eating here had changed dramatically since the service har changed. Food was nice but patience worn thin by confusing information and obvious lack of management.

Depends on what your looking for . TV can very loud and when they have had djs or a quiz also very loud. Staff ok, all friendly but lounge staff taking and bring orders to your table , forget about it very poor. The bar man / women is more likely to bring your drink to you than the table Staff . Dave head barman is very nice person and an asset to the business. Overall this place badly needs a refurbishment and appears very drab and dated. The drink is good the staff also and If you live close you'd go there but if you didn't live close there is nothing to bring you there.
