Oscars cafe in Dublin

Lovely food & even better staff. Never a bad thing to say about this place. Best coffee in the area as well.

Accidentally eating at Oscar’s Cafe provided me with one of the best breakfasts I had on our trip to Ireland. I was doing the driving, so I asked my sweetheart and trusty navigator to find us a bakery so we could grab a coffee to go and a pastry for the road. I was hoping to find something before we got into Dublin, and the driving got “tricky” since I’m from the states. She assured me it was a doughnut place on the outskirts of Dublin and was only 20 minutes away. Well, in all its wisdom, Apple Maps routed us to the warehouse for a doughnut shop. Luckily Oscar’s was there too! We may not have been the usual clients at this cafe, serving what I would estimate to be 99% locals, but the staff was friendly, and helpful. The portions were generous, the food was good, and that latte might have saved my life. 10/10 Oscar’s, but I can only leave 5 stars. Thank you!

I had training there so had lunch and coffee break here for many days. The service is very good especially the boss I think so he is, warmly welcome hospitality with nice and gentle attitude makes me feel so welcomed. I love the plaint omelette a lot. The dear sister who made omelette for me every time, tasty and delicious.
