Overends in Dublin

Used to be a favourite to come for breakfast in when they did lovely raspberry scones. They still advertise on their social media but don’t do them anymore when they were popular and really lovely, other options of pastries have gone down alot, such a shame

Beautiful place with great quality food.

Personally I find that the quality of the food here is excellent being fresh and tasty. Yes it's a little bit pricier than other restaurants but worth it in my opinion for the quality. The kids meal was sausage and chips which normally I'd abhor but was excellent quality and everything was eaten so no waste. It was only a little bit more expensive than other bad quality kiddie meals elsewhere. They've introduced service now which is great especially if you've kids with you. They still seem to be ironing out the kinks but so much better than before. I'd recommend that you try it.

Disappointing - the kitchen has really gone downhill over the years. Tiny portions (and I mean tiny), decent food but way overpriced for what it is, and not many options. It’s a great place if you have young kids, and it’s mostly families with young kids who are there. The staff are really nice though.

Nice selection of pastries and cakes to enjoy with your Tea/Coffee in comfortable surrounds.

Love the location and very buggy friendly which was great but found the food offering limited, sometimes simple done well is best. I ordered the poached eggs dish without the sauce and even though this was reconfirmed to me, the dish came with sauce on it - i didnt send it back as it had already been a wait. The greens served on the muffin were perhaps a bit much with the eggs. Hot chocolate was more milk foam than chocolate. For the type of food on offer it was also a bit strange to order it at a counter then have to go back with a buzzer and collect it at the same till you pay at which can be a bit messy/hectic. Overall a bit of a disappointing experience in a place that has so much potential.
