Overends in Dublin

Excellent cafe, food is creative and very tasty! I do love their ethos of using their own grown and reared food to serve. Always and interesting menu, beautiful salads mix ❤️ i sometimes find it very noisy/echoes with the open plan though. Maybe some higher screens to seperate sections would help? 🤔

Really lovely, family-friendly spot with gorgeous seating, especially around the water and greenery, that’s definitely the best part of the place. That said, the switch from self-service to full table service doesn’t really suit it, in my opinion. It used to be much handier being able to order at the till and then just pick your own seat, it felt a lot more relaxed. The current spring/summer menu is also a bit disappointing. There aren’t many options, and nothing really stands out. No kids meal as well. I’ve always enjoyed coming here, so I was genuinely looking forward to it, which made this visit a bit of a letdown. Hopefully they make a few changes again soon.

A very lovely, family-friendly place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious, and the view from the panoramic windows overlooking the little pond is absolutely beautiful. Such a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy a meal, highly recommended!

Lovely place for coffe or delicious breakfast!

Food is good but not amazing. Definitely better in the past. Service is totally inefficient.

My husband and I went here with our baby. It is very family friendly with a nice atmosphere. We arrived around 11:20am on a sunny Saturday and did not have to wait to be seated. There was a lunch menu but not a lot of selection. I had asked if I could add chicken to the risotto, but they said they could not. So I opted for a sandwich and a soup. My husband got the beef pie. We both ordered coffees. The food and coffee was delicious! We were offered water, but they didn’t leave the jug of water for the table. The tables around us all had their own jugs of water but I had to wait to ask for a refill on water. I wish there was some sort of soup/sandwich combo or a bit more selection with some meat proteins on the lunch menu or the option to add meat. Staff were very friendly. The coffees were so good. The pastries also looked delectable but we unfortunately didn’t leave any room for dessert! It’s also open to the public/you do not need to purchase an entrance fee to dine here. It was busy with the lunch rush when we finished and left by 12:30pm.

Lovely breakfast, one small recommendation please using boiling water to make the tea. Using warm water from the coffee machine is not good and it goes cold too fast.

I love this restaurant for brunch, always recommend it! Most of the time you can walk in for a table, but would recommend booking if you have kids or a large group. Place is loud and lively, always full of kids.
