Papi´s Street Food in Dublin

30/09/2025: I’ve been here twice, and overall, it’s just… okay. The advertising makes the experience look far more exciting than it actually is. Maybe our expectations were too high, but the waiter more or less repeated what was already written on the menu, with little interaction or added value. The food itself was fine, but nothing memorable. The names of the dishes sound creative and make you think “wow, I really want to try that,” but once you do, the result feels pretty mediocre. For example the bio pack dish looked quite different from how it is presented on the website. You are expecting something more substantial than a couple of crisps or grated raw carrots. There’s nothing particularly wrong with the place or the service, but nothing that stands out either. For context: this year we tried the Space 6-course menu, and last year it was the Chipper theme menu. Both were decent in concept, but underwhelming in execution.
