Had a really nice lunch here with a good friend. A great atmosphere, lovely bright premises. I noticed the Christmas tree which added to the atmosphere. A nice choice on the menu. Staff great. Good value. Big carpark. Wheelchair accessible.

Very nice bar and nice staff but food has gone downhill. Breakfast especially bad. Greasy and appears to be just heated up food. Last three visits have not been good. (Breakfast times)

Golden Village Takeaway

25/11/2025: Went in for a Chicken Ball spicebag, was not disappointed, one of the best I had. The portion is very big, for 8.50 you'll feed 2 people with it and it tastes really good, not too spicy, not too mild it's just right. The start is also friendly in there!
09/11/2025: Second time I have brought a take away home and the fried rice was cold , collected on time , food is tasty , but obviously they pack fried rice in advance and just give it out without checking , disappointed to be honest.
