Pastel King in Dublin

Very tasty coxinha! Very good pastel! There are a few tables to sit in, but if you go during lunchtime, it gets very crowded and can be difficult to find a seat. It's next to a fruit and vegetable market. Service is fast and there's a wide variety of savory snacks and pastels.

Typical Brazilian pastel, with a crispy crust and a variety of fillings. If you're trying to avoid greasy food, stay away — it's quite oily, especially towards the end. The coxinhas are also a good option. The place is very small and busy, so most of times you will find dirty tables.

It’s a delight to be able to find and eat Brazilian pastel and snacks. I couldn’t drink the sugar cane juice because there was no sugar cane at the time, but I will go back. The pastel is better than it used to be a while ago. It’s less oily and a little smaller, though loaded. The atmosphere I don’t really like as there isn’t enough room to fit everybody and as it is inside the market it’s busy! Too many people coming and going. —————- I am back here one year later to edit my review and change to 5 stars. I went back there last week and the pastel is delicious! Congrats

I loved the pastel. In the market at the back, you can find everything. I even bought huge plums. There is a section just for Brazilian things. It's totally worth it. It has potato chips, condensed milk, rice, couscous, farofa, coffee, panettone, a box of chocolates, tweezers, nail clippers and many other things.

Being 100% honest, the cheese pastry was pretty bad. The other flavors and the coxinha seemed good to me. It's worth coming, just avoid the cheese pastry.

Absolutely the best place for Brazilian treats. I've tried cheese bread, cheese ball and pineapple and cheese pastel here. Delicious! Tried these at other places too but Pastel King is by far the best in taste and price. The seating area is ok. Sometimes a bit messy but not terrible. My diet was out the window the moment I discovered this place. Highly recommend!
