Unfortunately, the old-fashioned charm also has its pitfalls. You hear a lot without needing to. Milk that's boiled over shouldn't be left next to the coffee machine. But 95% of the time, the staff are super friendly.

Absolutely recommend staying here. The whole place gives old luxury. You can tell they out a lot of care into it. It’s clean, beautiful, quiet, and staff is oh so friendly and accommodating. There’s an always open bar to grab a pitcher of water, coffee, tea, or a pastry that was hugely convenient.

A lovely hotel for a few nights. Drove in from the airport a little early, and they were so kind about getting my room ready quickly, with a comfortable lobby area to wait in. Bathroom was small but the shower was delightful. Breakfast was delicious at their restaurant, although not included. Car park was secure and easy to find. Walkable to other restaurants and pubs, easy walk to Dublin Castle and Temple Bar area.

When I think back to my stay in Dublin, this hotel comes to mind: a little gem in the city that immediately immerses you in that upper-middle-class Irish atmosphere that few can match. The rooms are beautiful, with large beds and sheets changed daily. The lobby is beautiful and meticulously maintained; it makes you want to sit and read a good book while sipping tea. The bathrooms are a bit subpar; ours was leaking and a bit clogged. The staff, however, is another strong point; I've never seen such courtesy and kindness: they want to make you feel at home, and they succeed without a doubt.
If I ever return, I'll definitely stay here again.
Congratulations again to everyone!

We stayed for two nights in one of the loft rooms.
Great room, comfortable bed, and the loft gives a bit of extra space

Yes, it is quiet, but the center is easily accessible on foot.

Originally we planned to return to an Airbnb that we had stayed at a couple of weeks earlier, in the same area. However we liked the look of the hotel and spoke with Svetlana who gave the same rate as if we had used booking.com. it was €70/night cheaper than the Airbnb. All the staff we met were very helpful and professional, especially Svetlana. The lounger area with free coffee and pastries is a nice touch.
The Hotel is very nice and very beautiful!
I enjoyed so much every minute I've been there. All of the staff are very professional and polite! I felt I was home and I hope to return again on another trip to Dublin.
I would like to highlight the kindness and hospitality of Gabriel Martins, the world would be a better place if everyone was like him.
Congratulations for your service!
Best regards,

We had a wonderful couple of days at Pembroke Townhouse. We stayed with our golden retriever who was delighted to come along. The dog friendly rooms are in the basement level with easy access to outside. During our stay all the staff were very helpful and polite. We will stay again!
