The fresh cod and chips takeaway is one of the tastiest I've had. The piece of cod in batter was pure delicious.

Mizzoni's

04/08/2023: Sad to hear of yet another SME closing down due to the incompetence of this FFG Government. FFG are clearly insufficiently militant Parties for dealing with Wartime and Pandemic crises. Letting the likes of Airtricity et al betray the Irish People, SMEs & Economy with price hikes in line with **BRITISH BREXIT** inflation+fuel prices, rather than in line with EU's *contracting* inflation+fuel prices. Not to mention failing to induce Commercial Landlords (by legislation, if necessary) to provide and guarantee off-grid Rooftop Renewable Power supply to SMEs to keep them in business AND sustain the future and ongoing viability of the Irish Economy. [Both vertical+horizontal wind and PV panels] Heck, the entire city of rooftops should be a wind and solar farm for city public services, population and SME businesses. We need policy to reduce SME overheads. If overheads come down, then price per unit on products can come down. And if PPUs come down, then turnover will naturally increase - people buy more if it costs less - and, consequently, profits can increase (or at worst, at least sustain a break-even status and keep our SMEs alive, and our Economy open. It's basic Junior Cert Business Studies. If we continue to blindly follow Britain, British practices and allow our Economists to blindly preach from the 'book of London' economics - then we will end up pointlessly driving ourselves into an Economic Depression, not a mere Recession, nor a temporary state of "breaking even". Our food&drink SMEs, who lean on power guzzling cooking and cooling appliances, are dropping like flies. And leaving our local communities, our tiny towns and villages, falling into dangerous desolation and silence from loss of footfall into these businesses, especially in the evening and at night. Footfall and open businesses (witnesses) are half the battle in reducing or preventing crimes in local communities. It is always sad to see another SME go. But especially our non-touristy, original Irish chippers
