It's a shame that one of the waiters behaved rudely when bringing our order to the table, repeating 5 times that he moved his head to have access to it.
I had plenty of room on the opposite side.
The rest of the waiters were friendly.
Prices a little high
The warm atmosphere
3pm, miserable weather: took my teenage daughter for a quiet break after shopping & late bite before heading home: NO TV, NO music. Just the background noise of conversation . Bliss! Coffees, H& C toasties ordered, served in timely and v. professional fashion. Perfect. Eclectic bunch: lads laughing over pints at the bar, well-dressed professional women on their coffee break, tourists, students...and us. This place is unique: it has a late 60's Irl decor. My daughter noted the feel and comfort of Granny & Grandad's lounge, while I was reminiscing on nights spent there with her Dad & friends meeting before/ after theatre, partying in the late 90's. Peter's Pub is to be appreciated and cherished. Great place at Christmas time, also.

Peter's Pub is a small, intimate unpretentious bar. No TV, no music, just a genuine Irish bar with super, friendly professional staff.
Led by the indomitable Robert, the commander in chief and full attendee to the customers needs. Added ably by smiling Adam, never short of a witty remark to make the customer at ease
A pub for someone who appreciates what Irish pubs used to be.

I used to go to this classic Dublin pub years ago. Went in the afternoon when my son was 2 and they refused entry. 12 years later dropped in again with my now 14 year old at 5.30. Were sat at a table by a waitress that said 3 on a 4 table was fine. The owner then dismissively said we need the table and we were then told to go to the back. Got some drinks. Then 2 large ladies sat down and basically squashed my wife. Not the pubs fault but then the same owner/manager came over, shoved a drinks menu at the table. Then proceeded to yarn with the girls. In short the atmosphere is odd and one doesn't really feel welcome. In short they seem to have a problem with children in their pub.

Small, cozy pub for every now and then. Went there around lunchtime and were served in a friendly manner and engaged in a little chat. Bar staff were interested in our origins and the reason for our stay.
Can recommend this pub.

Nice spot with a little bit of weird atmosphere.
Bartender was nice but he looks he had no energy for running bar and he was not rude but not happy he see us .
Beers were good and for a good price.
No music in this spot .
