Peter's Pub in Dublin

Service was amazing. Nice place for a pint.

They actually have about 15 or so different beers on tap. The coolest aspect I’ve never encountered before is they served each beer in its specific glass!

First time in the new bar with a new owner, the pub has been homogenized into standard Irish bar, repainted in traditional green blending in with everyone else, all character lost, the Americans will love it

atmosphere is like relaxing in your living room with friends!

I've been to Peter's Pub quite a few times now, and every time it feels like every other pub in Dublin is completely packed, I always end up there again, either at the beginning or end of my trip. And the crazy thing is: I've ALWAYS been able to get a seat there. No matter what time it is. I don't know if it's Irish magic or just divine timing. Plus, they serve a really delicious Guinness and the atmosphere is relaxed, without all the tourist chaos. But the best thing is sitting outside by the barrels. You can sit there, relax, drink your Guinness, and watch the lost souls who've had 14 pints too many and are now trying to argue with a trash can. A truly quintessential Dublin experience. For me, it's definitely the number one pub in Dublin.

The locals locale but also good as a traveler for the quality and selection of pints. The staff are helpful and friendly and will throw out rowdy drunks while tapping a Guinness. Their published menu prices are not always what is charged for whiskey pours, apparently haven’t had time to update their menu… ok. But fine for a good pint.

A traditional pub where all ages and social classes mingle. Affordable prices, friendly waitress but not very smiley waiter, and above all, no background music...
