Petit Café in Dublin

This is such a fabulous place for lunch, great food, flavours and lovely staff, would highly recommend trying the hot chicken sandwich!

The reviews are all correct. The owner/manager lady snaps at you. Makes no effort to make her voice pleasant. The cashier young woman was very nice. But we got the quick coffee and breakfast we were looking for and a stool to sit on, very convenient and fast easy breakfast. Many people coming in and out for a coffe.

Colored people stay clear of this place.... We (2 adults and 3 children) just visited this place before our walking tour around the corner. Ordered pastries, grilled cheese sandwiches, and drinks. Total spent €32. The pastries were really good, the grilled cheese sandwiches were Ok, and the coffee (Americano) was below average. But the reason we will not return has to do with the weird pointed looks the old lady (presumably the owner or manager) gave us throughout our stay. After leaving, I asked my children and they told me that the "lady looked at us weird and didn't like us!". That's a kiddy way of saying you didn't feel welcome.

Great little spot, so friendly, busy little operation, the coffee is fab.. Been going there for years - very popular with politicians and the general public alike! The actual building is delightful also, the owner is a lovely woman also and a savvy barista!
