I go here regularly! The sandwiches are really good quality, especially for the price! The California sandwich in particular is really good bang for your buck, super filling and tasty. I like that the bread they use for the sandwiches isn't the cheap plain kind, the bread adds to the sandwich. The reuben sandwich is also good, just don't expect a lot of reuben in the sandwich, so it's not as filling. The super food chicken salad is a great option when you're wanting something healthy. They also have good pastries and bites for dessert. There's a bit of a line sometimes but you can order online beforehand.

They open super early, have a great selection of local kombuchas & also kefir, and had vegan options. Totally recommended!

I have been going to Pickles for many years and unfortunately, the standard is not what it was when I first went. I feel they haven't kept up with the competing other options we now have locally. Don't get me wrong the sandwiches are big hearty portions on fresh bread. I will go back for sandwiches from time to time now but where I see Pickles has fallen is the atmosphere, you go inside order and stand in a cold gaping room that was once a nice little cafe. Although I do go for sandwiches from time to time I have stayed away from the coffee, as it is awful, I’m not sure if they burn the coffee or the machines need cleaning but I would recommend the owners go and have a coffee in any of the coffee shops that have opened up locally and compare their products.
