Premier Inn Dublin City Centre (Gloucester Street South) hotel in Dublin

Stayed here for 5 nights, Premier Inn never disappoints. The prices are definitely on the higher side but this is true for all the hotels in Dublin and from my experience traveling the UK and Ireland, Premier Inn always offer a good night's sleep.

First of all id like to say that the staff were super friendly. The room was clean and perfect for just our 1 night stay. They have a two course meal deal on which includes breakfast for 33.50 . Great value yes! But the food opinions were crap and what we did get seemed to be frozen then prepared by chef microwave . Even the brownie was crap. And it was over 45mins for our food. Breakfast was no better to be honest We went at 10am , it closes at 10.30 so seemed to be the scraps left. So really although its cheaps its not worth the meal deal Take yourself mc ds

Check-in felt a bit gruff. Staff asked for photo ID, which I didn’t have as I only live about 20 miles away and was staying for a show. Since all my details are already stored in the app, it seemed unnecessary and made the process less welcoming. The bar area was pleasant enough when you got served, but service was hit-and-miss. Staff appeared to be covering food service, reception, and the bar at once, which meant waiting around 7–10 minutes for a pint — not ideal. Rooms were standard Premier Inn quality: clean, functional, and comfortable for a single night’s stay. Overall, decent accommodation as expected, but service could be smoother both at check-in and in the bar.

The Premier Inn Dublin City Center is an affordable hotel in a great location with nice amenities. My daughters and I were comfortable in our clean room and the staff was helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed a convenient hot breakfast before taking off on all day tours of Ireland. We were an easy walk from the Temple Bar district, Trinity College and the Molly Malone statue.
