Some buzz there in the summer months. When the sun is out great spot for a pint with a view on the outside seating. Live music occasionally on weekends. Well organized pub. Recommend going for a drink but better places to go for food

Jumped in for a pint during a shower. Great spot, great guinness, kind staff. Will have to stop for food one day if its as good as the pints it'll be a treat.

Great place to get a drink& watch the comings and goings at the Boat quay. On a good day it's near impossible to get a seat outside. Very popular with locals and tourists. Tons of seats and tables inside without the views of the boats. It's all about the exterior seats.

We visited on a busy Friday in the school holidays. The service was quick, the food was hot and very enjoyable. The chicken goujons were really lovely, they were huge and probably the largest portion I ever seen.

Very good food with great views of the harbor. It's some of the best fish and chips we've ever had. Excellent service from the waiters.

13/08/2025: The view is breathtaking... we were lucky enough to have a calm sea and mild weather but it must be evocative even with a stormy sea
08/08/2025: I have spent 6 days riding around Ireland, and everything was great. But then we arrived at the Pier Head Hotel Thanks everyone for making our last night fantastic The staff are simply incredible at reception, the restaurant and the bar The setting is also fairytale A wonderful hotel and also very honestly priced Thanks again everyone, from Kevin, Oliver and Henrik

15/04/2025: Really good these guys have brought authentic French gastronomy to Mullaghmore Kids had the goat cheese salad which was good especially the sliced beetroot I had the scallops which were amazing and the salads were perfectly dressed as only French people can do Service was attentive and quick all in all a great place nous reviendrons
14/04/2025: After previously having had an uncomfortable experience here I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The meal took 45 mins to arrive, it was expensive and the food was at best average. It will be my last visit
