We went to eat lunch here, the food was great! We ordered fish and chips, irish stew and, the big plus, they had kids menu. Our 4 year old daughter was excited, she couldn't finish her meal. They have big portions for good price. When we'll visit Dublin again, we will definitely come to eat here.

I thought I was eating with Irish music but in reality it was in a fast food restaurant. We'll give you a ticket to wait. You have a drink while waiting but the only cocktail is a spritz 😓 Once at the table the meal is served in a few minutes. It would be satisfying if the Irish stew had a sauce that had a stew flavor and not a ready-made can. In short, it's not a restaurant, it's a snack bar. Instead, have a drink at the pub you will find a musician, the sound is too loud and it's not Irish music but well-known pieces. In short, move on if you want an Irish atmosphere.

While looking for a good restaurant we came across The Quays Dublin. Of course, with this location there is definitely a need for mass, but that doesn't detract from the matter. The food is super tasty and the service is great. The Irish stew was to die for. Keep it up and thank you for the great stay.

The restaurant is above the bar of the same business. There are only stairs to get there. But, there's a reason TripAdvisor has them rated #7 of over 2000 restaurants in Dublin. I enjoyed a good 12 year old Irish whiskey before digging into a very good Lamb shank. The server was friendly and good. I'd go back there in a minute!

Fabulous food, extensive menu made it hard to decide. The desserts are incredible absolutely delicious. It was busy so probably best to book. Highly recommend you will love it.

13/04/2025: OMG, Cardi B pastry (Cardamom Bun) was one of a kind. I highly recommend it. It was hard to not buy spares for a later time. Also Iced Latte was tasty & refreshing. N.B. Their new location is A full window exterior right across the playground in Smithfield. You have to climb up the 4-5 stairs to your left.

12/04/2025: We live nearby; however, this was our first ever family visit. We ordered a Caesar salad, toasties, some pastries, and coffees. The food was very good—my son, who has severe autism, actually managed to clear his entire plate of veggies (he usually doesn’t eat vegetables). The service was excellent, with very friendly staff. The atmosphere was great—mostly thanks to the clientele, I’d say. There’s plenty of space for parking; however, we noticed some people parked in front of the entrance gate and went into The Edge without realizing there was parking available inside. Overall, I would definitely recommend The Edge if you're looking to enjoy some food in a peaceful and calming atmosphere. Ps Thank you for the discount, much appreciated.
25/03/2025: The staff was so kind & their coffee is delicious ;-) Plenty of seating inside or outside. Highly recommend!!
