We went in for a snack, asked if it was still open, and were given a grudging answer. In the end, we didn't stay; I didn't fancy the desserts they offered.

So many treats in here it was hard to choose but our favorite was a small, sweet, cinnamon and raisin thing that we will fly back to Dublin just to have another! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was excellent as well!

Ho saputo che il Valentino ha aperto una nuova sede a temple bar. Ai miei tempi ne aveva una ai docks ed una verso howth. Non è cambiato molto, se non fosse che cappuccino e cornetto viaggia serenamente verso gli otto euro.

Salió aquí por lo que llamamos en el noreste de Escocia "una taza y un pedazo fino" - marido tenía una tarta de fresa, yo tenía un pistacho eclair - ambos absolutamente delicioso - y los dos tuvimos café que era muy bueno de hecho. Aprecié que el caballero detrás del mostrador fuera tan paciente cuando me tomé unos minutos para seleccionar mi 'pieza fina'! Sus sabrosas ofertas también parecían deliciosas, así que está en mi lista de 'tareas pendientes' para mi próxima visita.

Capitol Lounge

01/06/2025: Superb place to enjoy a good night out in the city. The staff was welcoming and was letting people in by checking their IDs. Unlike other pubs / clubs in the lane who denied us entry for being brown, the staff here was super good and definitely felt more welcoming to everyone irrespective of race and color. If you’re a tourist, definitely pick this spot when you’re around. The DJ was belting some great music, staff was lovely and they even had a 2 cocktails for 15e offer going on and we’ve made good use of it where the quality wasn’t sacrificed. Fun place and a fun night overall. Would definitely come back again!
