We went early on a Monday with no reservation, I would say make sure to book if looking for 6pm onwards. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Staff were friendly and attentive. Nice atmosphere although it was quiet when we were there.

We stumbled upon Red Torch Ginger in Dublin completely by accident, and it turned out to be one of the happiest surprises of our trip. Both of us were craving Asian food after a long day, and since Thai is one of our all-time favorites, we decided to give it a try.
From the moment we walked in, the first impression was excellent. The restaurant has a stylish, modern Asian aesthetic with elegant touches — warm lighting, tasteful decor, and a classy yet welcoming vibe that immediately makes you feel relaxed. It strikes a lovely balance between contemporary and traditional Asian design without feeling overdone.
Since we had already eaten a light dinner earlier, we kept things light and ordered just a couple of small snacks to share along with two cocktails. I went for the Raspberry Martini, while my partner chose the Red Torch Cooler. Both cocktails were beautifully presented and packed with fresh, vibrant flavors — the Raspberry Martini was nicely balanced with a smooth finish, and the Red Torch Cooler was refreshing and slightly tropical.
For food, we ordered the Tom Yum soup and Chicken Satay. The Tom Yum was outstanding — rich, aromatic, with that perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory notes that makes Thai cuisine so addictive. The Chicken Satay was also very tasty, with a flavorful marinade and a nice char from the grill. The only small critique is that the satay was a bit on the dry side (the peanut sauce helped, but it could have used a touch more moisture).
What really stood out, though, was the service. The staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly — they had that classic Asian hospitality that makes you feel truly cared for. They checked on us multiple times, offered recommendations, and were happy to accommodate our lighter-order request without any fuss.
Overall, Red Torch Ginger delivered a wonderful experience. Great ambiance, delicious flavors, and excellent service made our accidental visit feel intentional. We’d definitely return for a full meal next time — especially for more of that Tom Yum! Highly recommended if you’re in Dublin and craving quality Thai food.

This Thai restaurant is good, and the service was decent overall. The host at the cashier was very observant. We saw her directing the restaurant while also managing the register.
One area they could improve is transparency. We waited 20–30 minutes for our appetizers. We ordered the pork belly and chicken wings, and both were great. However, I felt the chicken wings had a bit too much sauce. A lighter toss in the sauce would have made them even better.
After that, we waited another 20 minutes for our main dishes. I finally asked about the status of our order because we had been sitting there for quite a while, and a large party that arrived after us was already receiving their main dishes. We noticed the host quickly head to the kitchen, and a few minutes later, our food arrived. Better communication about the delay would have made the experience much better.
That said, our main dishes were delicious, and the food was definitely worth trying.

It was a hit-and-miss experience overall.
* Gochujang Fried Chicken – Hit
* Satay Chicken – Miss
* Pad Thai – Hit
* Nasi Goreng – Miss
* Jasmine Tea – Hit
The Gochujang Fried Chicken and Pad Thai were flavorful and enjoyable, and the Jasmine Tea was great. However, the Satay Chicken and Nasi Goreng didn’t quite meet our expectations and lacked the flavor we were hoping for.

It's a nice place, and the dishes are good.
Keep in mind that the appetizers and some dishes marked as "not spicy" are still a little spicy.
The desserts are amazing.

Red Torch offers very good food and excellent service. The entrance and bar area were a bit disorganized, which slightly affected the first impression, but the quality of the food made up for it. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the visit. Overall, a pleasant experience, and I would recommend it for the food and outstanding service.

Having lived in Thailand, it's always difficult to find "authentic" Thai cuisine in Europe. But here, the food was delicious and the portions were generous. The female staff, in particular, exuded Thai charm.
Definitely recommended.
