We were there, we wrote, we published. Ask - we'll repeat. A good gas station with usually normal prices. After the renovation, it became good inside too. Not a bad cafe, spacious and diverse store. It's on the main list of gas stations that we try to visit

Man O'War Traditional Irish Bar & Restaurant

05/05/2025: Great service. Great food. Prawns pil pil in particular were divine as was the calamari. Fast super service. Pleasant and friendly.
14/04/2025: Dropped in to the Man O War for an impromptu business lunch and was pleasantly surprised with fare and the friendly staff! My guest was rather fussy about the toastie he wanted and we were well accommodated the the "custom toasties" . We will definitely be back and we were given a choice of a booth that afforded privacy and allowed us to enjoy a working lunch! Big shout out to Anna, Nicola and Rob!!!! Many thx!

Castle Grove Country House Hotel

11/08/2025: Dined in there excellent restaurant.
06/08/2025: Stayed here last night and it was exceptional. The service was top notch nothing was a bother, food and drinks even better. Lovely relaxing atmosphere with old style decor. The rooms are beautiful and the grounds even nicer. We cannot wait to return. Thanks Caroline for a night we will remember.
