Rosie's Cafe in Dublin

Lovely place 😍 Great coffee and breakfast! The tuna sandwich in unreal

Cute place, and popular on a Saturday. Waited for a table. I had the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Wow. I bet there were 4 eggs in the scramble and a very generous portion of salmon. I found it a bit lacklustre and dry with no chutney or even some cream cheese to compliment the salmon with the bread. Coffees and muffins were nice. I would try this place again and choose something different.

The aroma of coffee lured us into this little café during our stroll through town. Whether we wanted a hearty or sweet breakfast, the choice was easy: there was something for everyone ;) Everything was delicious, and we received cheerful and friendly service after making our selections at the counter. We sat in comfortable green velvet armchairs and enjoyed a relaxing break before our visit to the nearby castle.

Really nice simple and good food, friendly service and lovely atmosphere. We had breakfast and it was great.

Got a large Chai for the price of a small one. Great service!

Cercando un posto per un brunch nei pressi della chiesa di St. Patrick ci siamo imbattuti in questo piccolo locale, che dall’esterno ci sembrava molto pulito, ordinato, ben organizzato e soprattutto poco affollato e abbiamo deciso di provarlo. A Dublino ci sono tanti buoni posti per fare una colazione irlandese o un brunch, ma sono spesso pieni di gente e questo non rende l’esperienza troppo piacevole. Al contrario, da Rosie's Cafe siamo stati decisamente meglio. Per il resto, però, abbiamo trovato qualcosa da migliorare a cominciare dallo staff che è stato poco presente e accogliente, anche se tutto sommato cortese. Abbiamo provato delle uova alla benedict, disponibili sia con il prosciutto che con il salmone che non ci sono dispiaciute, anche se io avrei ridotto un po’ la salsa olandese, che copriva un po’ il sapore d’insieme. Nel complesso però il Rosie's Cafe offre un locale tranquillo, prezzi leggermente meno cari della media della città, specie per essere a ridosso del centro e una discreta scelta. Qualcosa va migliorata, ma nonostante tutto lo consiglio.
