Nice location, easy to park nearby. Salmon & steak are made very well and were enjoyed but chips/potatoes is where it falls. Service is quick and staff are friendly

Food was less restaurant, more home cooked meal feel. This was just what I wanted after my walk. Staff were very good at checking on my food requirements, making sure I knew what was/wasn't vegan friendly. Man behind the bar lit up the whole room with his smile. Atmosphere quiet relaxed and friendly.

My family had a lovely dinner our first night in Ireland. The owners are so hospitable and the food was delicious. This pub is a little local gem! We came back for pints at the bar later in our trip too!

06/07/2025: Went here after a lovely hike in glendalough and was greeted by the most lovely of servers, Amy, who kept us entertained for our entire visit with quick wit and great service. Would highly recommend going here to meet this lovely woman alone
29/06/2025: We were out as family in and around Roundwood and rang this restaurant to find about food options as we had specific dietary requirements and they were super helpful, knowledgeable. We came down for food and enjoyed a very nice meal 4 of us ( 2 Kids and 2 adults). What made our visit special was the behaviour of the staff, they were super nice. Would definitely recommend and also visit again.

The Coach House

10/10/2025: Came for my son’s 7th birthday. Called ahead to ask if bringing our own cake was ok, and if we could bring our dog - not a problem at all! The staff were warm, friendly, and made us feel at home. The food was incredible. Even my 7 year old was impressed by what he called a “five star dinner!”
05/10/2025: Absolutely one of the best meals I've ever had. Gorgeous, cosy setting and spot-on service.
