Runway 28 Rooftop Bar & Restaurant in Dublin

We almost chose another restaurant because some of the reviews but we’re so glad we dined at Runway 28. The atmosphere looking out to DUB airport while a DJ played upbeat yet family friendly music was perfect. We have two young children and they loved it despite being the only children in the restaurant. The food was very well prepared and delicious. Highly recommend the steak and the brisket as well. Great service capped off a nice evening with the family before flying home to the US the next day.

Sayar, the manager, accommodated us on short notice and did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. His entire team including Anastasia, our server, and Egor the bar manager did a great job with the food and drinks. Would definitely recommend staying here before an early morning flight. Right next to the airport and the hotel rooms are lovely and clean.

One guest got the runs. Food was underwhelming. Service was meh. Server tried to trick our party of five into a 12.5% 'large party service tax' although menu only listed a 10% fee for parties of 4+. Thankfully we reviewed our bill before paying - when I asked about the fee the server mumbled something about "parties of six or greater..." and then hurried off to correct the charge after I pointed out we were only 5 and the menu listed a 10% fee. Recommend avoiding, not worth the GI distress or billing hassles.

Sagar is a wonderful man he is so kind the hospitality was amazing his customer service is next to none I already informed the manager about his excellence and would highly recommend a promotion to this wonderful man who served our whole communion party 😎

Sagar is by far the best staff member at runway 28 in terms of looking after customers and making sure everyone is having a good time. He has the upmost respect for everyone and is a key worker in the runway 28 team sagar thank you very much.

Ambience of the restaurant is fantastic, dj on decks is a nice touch. Staff were very friendly,knowledgeable and efficient. Food was absolutely amazing. Looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Food was good but restaurant was understaffed for Mothers Day

Food was gorgeous. Service was very slow. Gentleman serving us was so rude and unfriendly, it seemed like he would rather be elsewhere. Waited 40 minutes for our main course to come. Buger was supposed to have sauce on it, there was none. Had to ask table beside us for their ketchup as our server kept ignoring us. My partner ordered a second pint and the server slammed it on the table and walked off. Was not asked once how our food was. Partners parsnips were still frozen/ not cooked fully. Won't eat here again or recommend.

Superb meal, lovely atmosphere, and really friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed both nights in this restaurant during our stay at the Carlton Hotel
