Ryan's Sandymount House in Dublin

12/05/2026: Busy but average bar in Tenple Bar. Staff don't seem overly bothered. The prices are typical temple ber meaning they are too expensive! The roof top bar was grubby and not much of a view.

05/05/2026: Recently, my family visited Dublin and loved it! The people, history ( Vikings), music, vibe are awesome. While walking around, we stumbled upon the Fitzsimmons Pub. Walking in we were greeted by amazing music, friendly people dancing and enjoying themselves. After getting some drinks at the bar by a very personable bartender( lady from Italy) , we all sat down to listen to the music and get some food. Our waitress, Larissa ( from Brazil), greeted us with a great smile and energy. She took care of us and was awesome! The food was incredible! Although it was very busy, Larissa attended to us ( sometimes waiters disappear), getting our gin and tonics , beers, food without having to flag her down. We ended up staying there over 4 hours! She was a delight and attentive. This was our first time there, but not our last. Jill and I ( and kids) have and will recommended Fitz. to our friends. It was one of our highlights. I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt the need to share our experience. We are all back to work in the states, looking forward to a return trip. James McArthur and family.
