Music too loud, for a club. Completely inappropriate.

After living abroad for over half a century, I know that Japanese food abroad is expected to taste as authentic as the Asian food in English-speaking countries, so I decided to just pop into this restaurant I found, hoping to have a quick dinner and rest in a hotel. My wife was interested in a picture of Thai-style chicken and mango (pokeballs?) posted at the entrance of the restaurant, and thought we could eat it quickly and go back to the hotel. While I was looking at the menu and trying to decide, a young waiter who looked Asian came to take our order. So, while I was asking him what the tom yum soup noodles were like, which you would never find in an authentic Thai restaurant (or rather, it was more like Japanese ramen), I found out that the waiter was a Japanese student. It might be possible for a Japanese restaurant in Dublin, but it's rare to see a Japanese person working in a Thai-style restaurant, and he seemed surprised to see an old customer like me pop in. So in the end, my wife had the Pokeball style and I had the Thai ramen, which was as expected, a mix of Asian and European flavour, or should I say fusion style. We're used to this type of food so we can eat it, but the noodles in my ramen were a bit off. The soup was tom yum goong style, but I prefer a lighter flavour. I'm not sure how to describe my wife's Pokeball style, but if you eat it with the mindset that it's a specific type of food, it's edible, it uses lots of fresh vegetables and is healthy, and my wife said it was delicious (she's Australian so she's used to it). Regardless of the taste, it was our first night in Dublin and the Japanese person was kind enough to give us lots of information about food in Dublin, so we gave the service a high rating. Thank you.

Didn't really try the food but had a taste of their cocktails during the dublin cocktail week event. Had absolutely great fun there. The bartender Juel is extremely helpful and professional about making the drink perfect. We had a great conversation about mixology and I found out this place actually had an award winning mixologist (No.1 in Ireland in Hennessy'e competition! Wow!). They're good at utilising mixology methods and it's shown in their unique recipes. One cream that Juel proudly showed me is the one made out of pandan and coffee. I was so surprised by how good they are together. Saba is 100% a place that maximises the "fusion" concept. Their cocktail menu is such a hidden gem. I'll be back to try their food one day for sure. Once again big kudos to Juel the attentive bartender for the amazing hospitality.

We went here today for lunch, and it was exceptional. We had the Buddha bowl and Tom Yum soup which was delicious. We had our bany with us and mentioned it was her 1st birthday and the staff, particularly Yen. Was incredibly kind and even brought out a birthday treat for her. It really made our day and we couldn't recommend them highly enough

This place is fantastic. When you first walk in, it looks like a small restaurant, but it stretches far back and opens up a lot. They have a lot of options on the menu, also offering different spice levels. I had the Tom Yum Mama noodle soup, and asked them to make it very spicy (**** out of *****). Absolutely fantastic flavour, and also the pork belly and shrimps in the noodle soup were amazing. 10/10 recommend

. . . grandes gustos en un ambiente energético divertido. . .
