Sahara Restaurant in Mullingar

Beautiful evening, with delicious food and chilled atmosphere

I ordered the mixed grill for takeaway. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was quite busy, which was a positive. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The lamb was very under-seasoned and there were only three small pieces of lamb on the skewer, spread quite far apart, which made the portion feel particularly small for the price. The sausage was also very dry and lacked flavour. For what you pay, I expected a more generous portion and better seasoning overall. It wasn’t a terrible meal, but considering the price, I don’t feel it offered particularly good value for money. The friendly staff was a definite positive, though.

The food was amazing, every single dish we ordered was perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend.

Really surprised by how good and this place is. Highly recommended

Delicious food, big portions. Looking forward to coming again. Friendly service!

Can't believe it's not busier on a Friday night. It's a long time since I've experienced such courteous hospitality. Delicious food.

The place was quiet so lacked a little buz but the food was lovely with a great salad. Perfect for the hot weather.

Best restaurant in Mullingar! The food is absolutely sublime. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Congratulations to the chef, and a special thank you to the waitress for the friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

Lovely, understated, with outstanding food and excellent service. Worth coming back to.
