Salveta Carmine in Dublin

17/02/2024: So - needed a place to sit down for a cuppa coffee. Being right in the centre of the ground floor, Stephens' Green centre, at 1530 on a wet and miserable Saturday, I expected mayhem!! Nothing of the sort. Quiet, with a steady stream of patrons, I ordered a simple, plain, latté. Perfect temperature, perfect size, served with a smile. The coffee was yummy - I forgot to ask which brand they used. They also had a selection of soups, sandwiches and pastries - of which I didn't partake. The folks who were there seemed to be a group of friendly folks who were happy to make conversation!! There were seats available and the kind of folks who were there didn't mind sharing a table. Certainly enjoyed my very brief time there - next time I'll eat something for sure!!

05/10/2023: Coffee was just ok, the tables were quite dirty and staff were slow to clean up. Some of the pastries were nice but quite expensive.
