Food is always delish expecially the kebabs, curry sauce, chips, burgers etc, service is great delivery always on time, and delivery drivers are sound, by far the best chipper in the town..

Proper chips, and they always arrive hot and fresh. The southern fried chicken is so good really well seasoned crispy coating and the chicken is never dry. Fast delivery plus they do a €2 bottle of chipper vinegar :)

Absolutely fantastic chipper. Normally open late. Food is always fresh and what a lovely bag of chips you get. Great staff which are very friendly.

I’m not a local to Ashbourne but I drive through it to go to work and back home, and San Remos is probably the best chipper I’ve had. I go there at least once a week and they never disappoint. I highly recommend the food and the chicken is A1. Thanks guys keep up the great food!!

Melt Gelato

12/09/2025: The coffee shop is really cosy and clean. I loved the seats and coffee is great. Gelato also seems good. But I would like to say that the music was really horrible. I think a coffee shop in Ireland shouldn't be playing Latin American music. If it was Italian music it would make sense as Gelato is from Italy. But I think a sooth chilling music is the best for the atmosphere.

The Stags Head

18/10/2025: We stopped by The Stag’s Head and got a super warm welcome, even though we accidentally came in the back door before they were open. The folks there were great they even pointed us toward a few good spots to grab food until they opened back up. Gotta say, the Guinness is spot on (as it should be), and the apple cider’s a very close second.
29/09/2025: Had 2 pints while I watched the Ryder Cup...Happy Days Friendly Staff...quick to serve
