Absolutely 5 stars in every respect. Great food, a wide selection of drinks, and excellent service, especially in the restaurant area. A wide variety of people meet here to watch football together. Highly recommended!

spent 2 nights here drinking and playing pool, good craic your man is a bit grumpy but sound once you get used to him, prices are good, it is Small enough so it's be easy to get it full, food is excellent the first night we had it booked second night we were late trying to book it and couldn't get in the door 😞, restaurant part is a fair size with plenty of seats, lots of parking around

We had 2 fantastic meals in here. We were on a family holiday with three quite picky people, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend the fish tacos!
The bar area is dog friendly so we ate in there both times :)

Booked a short break in Gaoth Dobhair a few months ago and arrived today. Staying in a B&B just across the road we called into Sean Óg's for a drink after the drive. Long story short, the Guinness is excellent.
The bar has a restaurant attached and thanks to Caitlin we managed to get a table for about 6 o'clock. A varied menu and a decent wine list (and real candles on the table) convinced us to give it a go.
Disappointed we were not. I had scampi and my wife had the Chicken madras with a really nice bottle of 3 Wooly Sheep. Food was fantastic and there is a lovely vibe about the place, families and couples just eating and enjoying themselves.
Will definitely be back.

Probably the best value for money of our stay! Great welcome and service, very pleasant and smiling staff. Soft and warm atmosphere, dated decor that has a crazy charm (it's a bit like what we look for in typical pubs/restaurants). The meal was excellent, the salmon (and its mash!!) exquisite, ditto for the fish & chips and the Burger. Everything is homemade (except the fries: only downside of the evening) and tasty! Truly an excellent time and at a very reasonable price!
