Seán Óg's in An bun beag-doirí beaga

Lovely bar, ample parking and brilliant staff. It was my partners birthday and they brought our cake out for us with a happy birthday message on it - really really lovely. Food was excellent too - would highly recommend!

I wasn't overly impressed by this establishment, I thought the opening times for the height of summer and being on the Wild Atlantic Way route to be crazy , as they are only open for food a couple of days per week , we spoke to a couple who came the night before ( Friday) and it was closed for food ! Weird , especially when there is hardly any other choices. The food was average also , I had the Red Thai Curry , it was hot and was okay to eat , but it was the most yellow red Thai ever , it also had water chestnuts and who sweet corns in the sauce , that was very strange , my guest had the Madras curry , it was also okay but nothing special. The service by young females came across as them having had no training in hospitality. My guest asked for another drink and she walked away before making sure I didn't want one also . We had a sweet after our main , on the menu board it said one scoop of ice cream or a selection of ice cream , I asked for an ice-cream and she walked away and quickly came back with strawberry and vanilla without asking me if that was what I wanted . It was overpriced and the whole place really needed a total refurb ... disappointed, I would not recommend.

Worth the visit and worth the craic

Set in a very picturesque area. The food was great, Guinness was perfect. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Have only been once but would love to try again. Was very quiet for a Sunday lunch time ( only start serving at 2 ) but our food was lovely and great selection on kids menu. Was seated beside a lovely fire and service was very friendly. From the outside it doesn't look overly appealing to stop but the inside is lovely!
