Searsons in Dublin

My wife, my son and I stayed in Dublin two weeks ago, when we were over from England for the Ireland v Australia rugby game. We were in Searsons on Friday and Saturday and loved it. Its true what they say, the Guinness tastes better in Ireland. We were made to feel very welcome at Searsons and would like to especially mention a member of staff - Muirin who was fabulous. We will definitely be back for another Ireland game and be sure to visit Searsons again.

Great atmosphere, great service

Lovely pub for lunch. Had a yummy irish stew on a freezing cold day.

I love this place but last time their Sunday roast was extremely chewy. I was with a bit group of people and whoever had it found it almost inedible. Staff is awesome though.

Delicious traditional Irish pub. The food is amazing and the pint of Guinness is perfectly served.

I arrived very late at 9.45pm, so did not know if food was still being served. The waitress checked with the kitchen and we were in buisness. Within 15 minutes I had a shepards pie and a pint of Smithwicks in front of me. Heaven. Athmosphere was lively with nice background music. Food and Service was excellent. Now I must find Smyths pub which is down the road somewhere.

Searsans is superb. Could not be bettered. Well laid out and spacious. No standing or cramming people in. The owners here know that they are doing. We watched the Lions over breakfast having booked. Booking was smooth and easy. Lots of screens. Super food freshly cooked. Great pints. Attentive and quick service We loved it all. Dublin hospitality at its best and we were made to feel very welcome.

Probably the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. Not like the flimsy fish in Scotland at all. Great atmosphere and service. Big place. Check out the patio in the back.
