Had dinner on Saturday 10th March at the restaurant with 3 others. We had a selection of croquettes, prawns plus calamari for starters along with monkfish with prawns and chicken for the mains followed by different postres too. Overall , a very positive dining experience topped by really friendly staff / servers.

Enjoyed my visit to this lovely restaurant immensely. A quiet comfortable atmosphere, interesting art and decor giving an inviting and relaxed feel. The food is, as the name implies, seasonal and locally sourced, blending Irish and Mediterranean cuisine. Staff friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable on the dishes being served. I had the delicious pan seared scallops served with a pickled lemon infused baby leaf salad to start Followed by the absolutely sublime Bia na Mara, Irish caught Monkfish, Atlantic Prawns, and Rope Mussels, served with a Jerez Sherry Sauce, fresh chilli, on a bed of creamy mash potato. I can’t recommend this fine restaurant highly enough, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Perfect evening in seasons on the weir. The food was amazing! A seasonal changing menu that has us wanting to try everything. We went for the specials and were blown away. Tomahawk steak for two was something else! Their staff are fantastic also who really added to the night, especially Steven and Charlie Thanks again for a great 1st visit and will be back again

Our first time here and what a fantastic experience from the moment we arrived our servers Cathal and Charlie were so polite and chatty ( love that ) to Emmett the manager (I think ) who was such fun to talk to and was so attentive our night was so good But the real winner was the food every dish was amazing so tasty and cooked to perfection And if it could not get any better along came the owner Alan who was so nice and friendly and gave us a glass of port a glass of wine and a delicious cheese board on the house as a thank you for coming, there are not many restaurants that you can sit and enjoyed a over 3 hour meal and not notice the time go by but this is definitely one Have to put seasons on the weir in one of my top restaurants choices now Would highly highly recommended Thank so much for an amazing night Brendan and Lorraine

A bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. We got the brisket and the fillet and they were both gorgeous. Definitely worth visiting to treat yourself and your loved ones.

Had a lovely meal here a few weeks ago. The only reason I've given it three stars for service is because of the length of time it took between starters and the main course.

I was blown away with Seasons on the Weir. Everything about our visit was a delightful experience from start to finish. The decor is warm and inviting, quirky and eclectic. We received such a warm welcome from one of the owners & once we were seated he talked us through the menu with such passion, taking delight in going into great detail on the sourcing of the ingredients & the preparation of the food. We wanted to order EVERYTHING on the menu when he was done. He also suggested wonderful wine pairings. The food was nothing short of stunning, and it is really worth paying attention to all the wonderful flavours coming through. I would say it is very fairly priced for the quality & preparation of the food and the experience in general. The wine list is really interesting, and very accessibly priced. The serving staff were wonderful, very friendly and attentive, nothing was a problem. It is such a pleasure to eat in a restaurant where the owners & staff are so passionate about what they do. We can't wait to go back.

31/03/2024: Binn Eadair ancient origins but such a lively vibe of locals in this delightful Irish fishing harbour. So accessible by suburban rail. Always a lovely day out. The Abbey Tavern adds to the day out!!

The Voyager Bar & Restaurant Dublin

03/04/2024: Great pub, great vibe, great music, great service (loved Sean, what a great man a'd barman), and the soup of the day was one of the best I've ever had!
02/04/2024: It was a Saturday night when we visited. There was up beat live music playing and it was just good vibes. We had the guiness meat stew and it was absolutely delicious.
