Previously a five star for me... Prices have increased and quality and quantity decreased. Paid 11.20 euros for a salad with added chicken, where chicken was previously in the recipe. The salad bowl was not full, so definitely not great value for money.

08/11/2025: I didn't stay there so i can't give a full report but the location is excellent and the service was great
11/09/2025: Great value for money! Lovely little hotel, the room was clean and cosy and felt safe. Located in a nice quiet neighbourhood, only a 10 minute walk away from Drumcondra rail and bus station, and about a 30 minute walk into the city centre. Can't comment on the food/restaurant part as we did not make use of that, but staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I'd say is, do bring some earplugs, otherwise your peace will very much be in the hands of whoever happens to be staying in the room(s) next to yours, as the walls are quite thin. Would definitely stay again nonetheless!

06/12/2025: A uniquely calm cafe set within a peaceful cultural space. The surroundings naturally encourage slowing down, and the seating supports longer visits without discomfort. It’s ideal for extended breaks where you want quiet, reflection and a relaxed pace away from the city’s rush.
20/11/2025: I had a wonderful experience at Silk Road Cafe. The food was absolutely lovely—full of flavour and really well prepared. The prices were also great, especially considering the quality of the dishes. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, making it an enjoyable place to relax and enjoy a good meal and customer service was always there and helpful and nice . Highly recommend Silk Road Cafe to anyone looking for delicious food and good service
