Shambles Bar in Monaghan

Came here on a Sunday when a few other places in the town were completely dead. The atmosphere was electric. There was a good few people in playing pool & they have a very modern jukebox which was going all night. The barman Johnny was great craic & really chatty & happy. He even stood us up a drink which impressed me seeing as we were complete strangers to him. If you like sport like me, they had several screen playing different sports - snooker & football was on. Then when the NFL started, they got a big projector screen going down the back too. Super spot with good pints & very welcoming crown. Had a great night. Will be back for sure
