Your typical Irish little restaurant. Good honest food, no pretense,great service at a reasonable price. If you're traveling through that area it's certainly worth a stop to grab some food.

Shannon's corner is simply one of the best places to eat in Ireland. The home cooked style of food is fantastic. I had the chicken curry last week, the best chicken curry I ever tasted. I plan to make the 212 km round trip next week to Ballyshannon to eat at Shannon's corner again. The genuine kindness and warmth of the host Mary Matthews is legendary, a brilliant lady.
